Welcome everyone, my name is Lacy, and I'm so happy you're here.

I am the designer, creator, maker, model and photographer of Drifting Winds Studio.

People always ask me if I'm "from the beach", I'm mostly convinced I'm made from the sea air, as I take so much inspiration with me when I leave any beach area. All of my designs are inspired by nature, and the simplicity and elegance of the lines that naturally occur when shapes are formed. I feel that these shapes in our surroundings can compliment our own shapes, as we are all part of nature.I hand fabricate each individual piece of jewelry, using carefully curated, quality materials, and minimal to no chemicals in the process.

The purpose of my designs is to create a comfortable and easy to wear piece of jewelry that you will want to wear again and again, day after day. Something that compliments your shapes, and something that you feel an ease while wearing. A beautiful balance that will take you easily from day to night, from work to a fabulous party, and everything in between.

HISTORY + RECENT NAME CHANGE

I started designing and making my own pieces of jewelry many years ago when I could not find pieces that suited my personal style.
As my style evolved over the years, and as I wore more of my one-of-a-kind pieces, I have had an incredible amount of complements and requests from people to have their own one-of-a-kind pieces handcrafted by myself.

My Recent Name Change -

I am very happy to introduce you to -

“Drifting Winds Studio”, a new name that encompasses more services that will be available from my business.

A name change that has been in the forefront of my mind for over two years, and it has, excitingly, come to fruition!

My same corner of the internet (Previously L.E.W. Designs), with a new name, and more exciting opportunity.

When I'm not designing, creating, or on social media for Drifting Winds Studio, you will find me keeping an eye out for new and interesting materials • Traveling to some of my favorite places that have provided so much inspiration in my work • Hiking with my Husband and friends • Becoming a beginner to road cycling • Cooking up something new and delicious • Learning about energy work for our well being • As well as taking the time to wander, and to ponder.
